Ms. Jones is the owner of J Designs and has recently been hired to work with Vern Yip on his new HGTV show Deserving Design. The inaugural episode for the upcoming season will begin shooting the first of 28 episodes on February 19 and continue through October 2008. The concept of the show will feature homeowners who have either endured tragic life experiences or who are leaders in their community. “It is such an honor to have been selected by Vern given his talent and notoriety in the design community, and to participate in a show that actually helps those in true need,” says Jones.Educated at Florida State University, Jones earned a BS degree in Interior Design and founded J Designs in 2000. Previously employed by leading Interior Design firms in both Florida and Georgia, she secured her track record of success in Residential Interior Design and Model Home Merchandising. As an active member of ASID, she has gained the industry knowledge and expertise to manage projects ranging in style from minimal contemporary to eclectic shabby chic to warm transitional. Her entrepreneurial spirit enabled her to establish J Designs to provide clients with her expertise, talent and a superior level of professionalism.
