For Immediate Release:
Caboodles Teams Up to Support Deserving Teens
Promotes individuality and self-expression
CHICAGO (October 30, 2009)—Since 1987 Caboodles has been a trusted name to young girls everywhere, and continues to promote the importance of self-expression and individuality through their funky, whimsical products. The world of Caboodles is filled with girls from all ages, races and backgrounds - neat freaks, make-up mavens, treasure collectors, dream catchers and everything in between. In November they will align with two charities that represent how females can inspire each other to reach for the stars and follow their dreams. They will donate hundreds of their Ultimate Organizers to the Step Up Women’s Network’s annual membership events in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Step Up Women’s Network is a national, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to connecting and advancing women and girls.
In addition to supporting the November events for Step Up Women’s Network, Caboodles plans to provide products to the Step Up Teen Programs. “Inspiring young girls to be proud of who they are has always been important to us,” says Kathy Hurt, Director of Marketing and Product Development. “We like to think of ourselves as their fun, quirky friend that’s been with them from their first lip gloss to their first college application”.
In their goal to foster confidence and promote self-expression, they have also signed on as the official sponsor of Young Tykeoons, a unique program that teaches youth members at various Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago about entrepreneurialism and fiscal responsibility.
